On August 28^th, family members and friends gathered to mark Gilad Schalit's 20^th birthday. After a visit to Gilad's squadron base in Zikim, the participants drove to "kerem Shalom", where Gilad was kidnapped. A small ceremony was held and colorful balloons, with relatives and friends wishes attached to it, were released into the air.
