There are seventy-nine
photographers participating in the exhibition "Captured Moments". One of the
participants is the kidnapped reserve soldier, Udi Goldwasser, who is unaware of
the exhibition.
Udi is a devoted amateur photographer whose
photo was first exhibited together with those of well-known Israeli
photographers at "The Edge Gallery" in Nahariya where Udi was born.
In the exhibition each photographer is
represented by one photograph. The fact that there are a large number
of photos, hung in close proximity to each other, symbolizes the solidarity of
the artists and the people of Israel with the kidnapped soldiers and their
families.
The participants call on the government of
Israel and the citizens of the world to bring about the release of the three
abducted soldiers: Gilad Schalit, Eldad Regev and Udi Goldwasser.
The exhibition was held:
December 2006 - January
2007 "The Edge Gallery", Nahariya
February 2007 - March 2007
The Artists House, Kiryat Tivon
March 2007 - Apri 2007 The Knesset -
Parliament of Israel, Jerusalem
Now exhibiting in Tiltan
College in Haifa, until 24.5.2007
The exhibition will continue being shown
throughout Israel with the hopes that the three young men will soon be returned
and reunited with
their loved ones.
