On Sunday June 24, denoting one year since the kidnapping of Gilad Schalit, a mass rally took place in “Gan HaVeredim” (The Rose Garden) in Jerusalem, opposite the Knesset.  The participants called for the return home of Gilad, Udi and Eldad.  The rally was organized by friends of the Schalit family from Mizpe Hila, where Gilad lives.

The theme of this rally was “Waiting for Gilad 365 Days Already”.  Attending the rally were the families of the three kidnapped soldiers - Gilad Schalit, Udi Goldwasser and Eldad Regev - many residents of Mizpe Hila and other supporters.
