On July 8 a mass solidarity rally organized by the Jewish Community in Paris, took place in the Great Synagogue La Victoire. The 5,000 people who participated from all over France, gathered together to express their unity and support of the families of the kidnapped soldiers, whose sons have not yet returned home.

The Goldwasser, Regev and Schalit families, who at the same period participated in meetings in France, attended and spoke at the rally.
