Representatives of the sons' families held a meeting in the USA during February 2007. The aim was meeting the new Secretary General of the UN, participating in a rally of the Jewish organizations near the Capitol and meetings with senators and Congress members.

We met with new parliamentary figures and with parliamentary figures that we had met on previous trips. These meetings were very important. Also on this occasion we met some of the 2008 presidential candidates and asked them to work for the immediate release of the boys.

We had a marathon of meetings in the  Parliament and the Senate. During the first part of the trip (UN and rally) Zvi and Benni Regev took part and then they made their way back to Israel. Miki, Karnit and Omri participated in the meeting in the Parliament.

Pictures from the meeting appear below. Some of the meetings occurred on the spur of the moment with no previous planning, it is important to note that no one refused to meet with us. We met  also with the US Secretary of Education, Mrs. Margaret Spellings.
