Kidnapped soldiers supporting activity in a
Jewish summer camp in USA- 2007
A special activity took place in "Ramah" Jewish summer camp in Wisconsin, USA,
marking a year since the kidnapping. The activity was organized by the Israeli
"Mishlahat"- the Israeli counselors in camp. The Israeli counselors told the
kids about the kidnapped soldiers, the kidnapping events, the war and the recent
attempts to bring the soldiers home. Afterwards, the kids wrote notes to
soldiers' families. Those notes were hanged on a sign said: "We haven't
forgotten". The signs were placed in the center of the camp during visitors'
day- while all the kids' parents were at camp. After the visitors' day, the
notes were collected in order to be sent to the families.
